הגיעה העת להכרה במדינה פלסטינית עצמאית במועצת הביטחון של האו"ם

     לחברות מועצת הביטחון, שלום רב! אנו – אזרחים ישראלים, פלסטינים ומשאר ארצות העולם - פונים אליכם בקריאה לקבל החלטה המכירה במדינה פלסטינית ריבונית בגבולות ה-4 ביוני 1967. אנו סבורים שהכיבוש המתמשך ששלטונות ישראל כופים במשך 50 שנה בשטחי הגדה המערבית ורצועת עזה פוגע בשלומם ובביטחונם של שני העמים ויש לסיימו לאלתר. כמי שמכירים את ממשלת ישראל, מדיניותה ועמדותיה, אנו יודעים שממשלת ישראל אינה חפצה בשלום ובסיום הכיבוש, ומעוניינת ב"משא ומתן ללא תנאים מוקדמים" כאמצעי להונאת הקהילה הבינלאומית ולשמירת הסטטוס קוו לזמן רב ככל האפשר. הצהרותיו של ראש ממשלת ישראל בנימין נתניהו בדבר תמיכתו בפתרון שתי המדינות מעולם לא הובאו לאישור מליאת הממשלה ורוב שרי הממשלה מתנגדים לה בגלוי וגם נתניהו עצמו הצהיר ערב הבחירות שאין זו באמת דעתו. לפיכך אין מנוס מהחלטה של מועצת הביטחון שתהפוך את קיומה של מדינה פלסטינית כעובדה החלטה זו אינה תחליף למשא ומתן בין ממשלות ישראל ופלסטין, אך היא היחידה שעשויה להפוך משא ומתן זה לבעל משמעות ולערוב לכך שישיג את ייעודו. אנו סבורים שהמשך הכיבוש פירושו המשך המצוקה ושפיכות הדמים, בעיקר לפלסטינים אך גם לישראלים. אנא קבלו החלטה זו בהקדם האפשרי.    

  الى أعضاء مجلس الأمن, تحية وبعد, نحن -  مواطنون اسرائيليون, وفلسطينيون ومن جميع دول العالم -  نناشدكم باتخاذ قرار بالاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية ذات سيادة ضمن حدود 4 يونيو 1967 ونحن نعتقد أن استمرار الاحتلال الذي تفرضه السلطات الاسرائيلية لمدة 50 عاما في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة يشكل انتهاكا لسلامة وأمن البلدين ويجب انهاؤه فورا. كشخص مطلع على الحكومة الإسرائيلية وسياساتها ومواقفها، ونحن نعلم أن إسرائيل لا تريد السلام وإنهاء الاحتلال، وتسعى الى المفاوضات دون شروط مسبقة كوسيلة للتحايل على المجتمع الدولي والحفاظ على الوضع الراهن لأطول فترة ممكنة.. تصريحات رئيس الوزراء الاسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو عن دعمه للتوصل إلى حل الدولتين لم يتم التصديق عليها مطلقا أمام جلسة مجلس الوزراء لهذه الحكومة ومعظم الوزراء يعارضون ذلك علنا ونتنياهو نفسه قد صرح مساء  الانتخابات أن ليس هذا هو رأيه الحقيقي. لذلك، ليس هناك مفر من قرار مجلس الأمن من شأنه أن يجعل قيام دولة فلسطينية حقيقة وأمر واقع إلا أن هذا القرار ليس بديلا عن المفاوضات بين حكومتي إسرائيل وفلسطين، ولكن من المرجح جعل هذه المفاوضات كضمانة هادفة والتي من شأنها تحقيق رسالتها. نحن نجهل أن استمرار

احتلال يعني استمرار للضائقة وإراقة الدماء، وخاصة الفلسطينيين، ولكن أيضا للإسرائيليين. الرجاء اتخاذ القرار في أقرب وقت ممكن

  To The Security Council members Greetings! We – Israeli and Palestinian citizens, and those of the rest of the world – call upon you to accept a resolution recognizing an independent and sovereign Palestinian state within the borders of June 4, 1967. We believe that the ongoing occupation which Israel has been imposing for 50 years in the West Bank and Gaza Strip territories harms the two nations' safety and security, and should be terminated immediately. As ones familiar with the Israeli Government, its policy and positions, we know that the Israeli Government does not want peace and an end to the occupation, and wishes for "negotiation with no prior conditions" as a means of misleading the international community and preserving the status quo for as long as possible. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's declarations regarding his support for the two nations solution have never been brought up for approval by the General Assembly of the government, and the majority of government ministers openly oppose it; Netanyahu himself declared, on the eve of elections, that it is not his true opinion. Therefore, there is no option other than a United Nations resolution making a Palestinian State a fact. This resolution is not an alternative to negotiation between the governments of Israel and Palestine, but it is the only thing that could make this negotiation significant and guarantee that it fulfills its purpose. We believe that a continuing occupation stands for continuing distress and bloodshed, mostly for the Palestinians but also for Israelis. We urge you to accept this resolution as soon as possible.
